100BaseT
and Macintosh Networking; Troubleshooting, repair and
networking of various Mainframe based systems.
May brings 10 years experience as the
System Operator of a large National Bulletin Board Service
and a total of over 20 years experience in the
telecommunications arena to the table. He has been
involved with the online community / world almost as long
as it has existed. His eight years experience in the
United States Navy as a Cryptologic Technician Maintenance
and Data Systems Technician is particularly germane to
WI’s interests in secure wireless networking. He has
always worked with leading edge technology and was
responsible for the development and building of the first
fully automated Type III Calibration Facility as well as
for repairing equipment down to component level. While in
the military he also received training on many systems,
equipment and other areas too numerous to list.
May is a graduate of Southern West Virginia
Community and Technical College, where he was awarded a
degree in Communications. He has attended various
professional-training courses throughout his employment
with other companies and the military. He is an
active member of
the Internet Industry Association and serves on
their Board of Directors as the Technology Advisor. He is
an active member of Phi Theta Kappa Society, International Webmasters Association, and the HTML Writers Guild
